Basis of the edition

The present edition is based on the photographs available at the Mainzer Photoarchiv of the Hethitologie Portal Mainz, as well as the available hand-copies and relevant secondary literature up to 2019. When the original manuscripts have been collated, this is noted in the commentary.

Commentary

This small fragment mentions mount Dašimuwa, no doubt connected with the homonymous town which is the geographical setting of KBo 61.87. The town belongs to the northern area, with Tašimuwa being located between Ḫanḫana and Ḫattena (Kryszeń 2016: 182-84); KBo 57.114 and KBo 61.87 may join indirectly (ibidem).

1′: Cf. the town Tašimuwa.
